VTM-32 and 25, which are horizontal jigs for Uplight-microscopes, are auxiliary equipment used for microscopic analysis after grinding and polishing operations.

It is a device that can compensate for the superposition distortion caused by the horizontal difference between the analysis surface and the opposite surface. These symptoms of focus distortion do not occur when observed with the Inverted microscope and may occur when observed with the Uplight microscope. (Refer to the picture below)

The described focus distortion symptoms are prominent when observing high magnification, and sometimes symptoms that are out of focus due to bending due to mistakes in grinding work on the analysis surface may be confused with symptoms of focus distortion caused by horizontal problems with the bottom.

There are two types of jigs, VTM-32, and 25, which may use a Ø32 and a Ø25 size mold.
